Get Pace 0.3.16
One zip. No installer, no drag-to-Applications ceremony — unzip, double-click, grant the permissions it asks for. Pace lives in your menu bar from there.
Updates itself. Once Pace is running, it checks the appcast feed every hour and installs new versions automatically via Sparkle. You won't need to come back to this page.

Three steps, then it's in your menu bar.
1. Unzip. Double-click Pace-0.3.16.zip.
You'll get Pace.app.
2. Open it. Double-click Pace.app.
macOS will ask about Accessibility, Microphone, and Screen Recording
permissions — grant all three. Pace needs them to hear you, see your
screen, and click for you.
3. Hold ctrl+option and talk. That's push-to-talk. The first spoken word back arrives in about 420 milliseconds. Pace lives in your menu bar from now on — no dock icon.
Pace is ad-hoc signed (no Apple Developer Program). On first launch, right-click → Open to bypass Gatekeeper. After that it's normal.

You only download from this page once.
Pace uses Sparkle — the same auto-updater most indie Mac apps use. Once it's installed, Pace pings a signed appcast feed every hour. When a new version ships, it downloads, verifies the EdDSA signature, and prompts you to relaunch. No App Store, no notarization, no re-download from a website.
If you ever want to check manually: Settings → General → "Check for updates…"
